So I did a major friends cut without warning and for that I'm sorry but there's just, hmm well to be honest I've been friends with alot of people on here for a while and I've always thought "What is the point?" its like I'm friends with some people who like things I hate and vice versa. Its pointless to be honest.

I don't see the point in keeping people as friends if we have nothing in common. I mean this in the least mean spirited way possible but well there's nothing worse than reading someone's LJ entries and actually rolling your eyes thinking "why is this person on my list?".

So I hope there are no hard feelings and that you continue using LJ to express your opinions on fandom/life/whatever...it was nice knowing you but it is time to say goodbye. If you can't see any of my recent entries then I'm sorry that means your cut. I'm sorry if I sound harsh or bitchy but I'm not trying to be. I'm simply being honest.

I did a little friends cut last night. I just feel that I don't connect with some people on my f-list and whilst I always feel guilty doing a friends cut I think its for the best.

So feel free to remove me from your end or if you feel you were removed unfairly please let me know.

Anyhoo...today at work was crap they banned Bebo again :(

Some people have been removed for personal reasons with regards to shows and stuff, sorry if that sounds petty but no point in being friends if we don't share interests y'know?? Some people were removed because we didn't 'connect' and I know everyone says that but we really didn't talk so there's no point if you think about it.

Others haven't updated in ages and that's about it. I wish you guys all the luck in the world!!

I'm really happy with this batch! My colouring has come a long way and I got some helpful hints from the marvellous misstress_tink getting help and compliments from her is always gonna make me happy since I respect her as an iconmaker SO much. So Lulu hun this batch is dedicated to you!!

I understand I'm not a great icon maker by any means but I think I'm getting the hang of things. Slowly but surely!!

There's 20 all in! Sorry I work in odd numbers that way. 20 may not be a batch to some people but it is to me LOL!

Friends cut.....if I cut you in all honesty its nothing personal, its the usual, your journal is dormant, we don't connect....it happens in the big old LJ world. I also gotta say most of the cutting was communities too. Its hard keeping up so yeah I've kept the communities/friends that make my little LJ world more tolerable and a big thanks for that.

However to all those I cut good luck in the future!

ETA: Does anyone know how to get rid of people you have removed in the past from your userinfo page?? I have people there from years ago and its bugging me!! God I'm a harsh bitch.

Be honest now particularly my icon making friends. I'm just trying new shit and with this I tried that scratchy texture look and some curves...curves and I are getting along a little better now, some text too on some of them. Thankfully.

I'm so annoyed my icons look like shit. I've been trying for a few days days to get the colouring nice and they look shite I'm so angry and annoyed at myself. I'm find Supernatural icons are really hard to grasp everyone makes them with amazing bluey-greens in them but mine just look pants. My VM icons seem to be coming along but most of them end up with too much of a yellowy glow or whatever.

ARG!! I'm pissed off at myself. I'm shite at textures, I'm shite at brushes and its getting really frustrated. I suppose I'm expecting too much of myself and I should keep trying but I'd LOVE to be able to get that REALLY amazing colouring, you know like pretty Lulu misstress_tink gets but god she's amazing, so are brasaremean and taxidoll. I'm shite at curves too!! *kicks self*
